Mono sulfur

Mono sulfur is a liquid, concentrated fertilizer for fertilizing and feeding many crops.

It is used for foliar treatment and has a high sulfur content. It also contains potassium and nitrogen, as well as humic and fulvic acids.

You can tell if there is a lack of sulfur in various plants by the following signs:

  • growth and development of plants is slowed down;
  • Older leaves show color changes – the main part of them loses the saturation of green color, and the veins remain unchanged;
  • The leaves may then turn yellow or turn reddish in color.

The correct and balanced level of all nutrients and components is the opportunity to get a high yield with good characteristics of the grown crops.

Mechanism of mono sulfur fertilizer

The mechanism of action of mono-sulfur lies in the directed influence of the components on enzyme functions due to the fact that the element is included in the composition of proteins. Sulfur is an important component that participates in the delivery and transport of nutrients and vitamins to all parts of plants.

Sufficient levels of such substances allow for the correct ionic balance in each cell.

Advantages of mono sulfur in liquid form

Mono fertilizer is characterized by such positive aspects as :

  • economical consumption of components with high quality of treatment of all areas;
  • high concentration of sulfur in the composition for effective effect on plant growth;
  • the presence of a wetting agent allows for an even distribution of mono-sulfur on the sheet surfaces;
  • additional fertilizer components increase the effectiveness of sulfur for maximum results;
  • prolonged action.

Effectiveness of applying mono sulfur

Such fertilizer as mono sulfur provides prolonged nutrition, which allows you to create the most favorable conditions for growth and proper development of a large number of crops – cereals, legumes, rape, vegetable crops.

The results of the use of such preparations for dressing are – a significant increase in yield, quality and size of fruits due to good development of the root system of the plant.

The targeted effect of mono-sulfur can guarantee an increase in protein content in legume crops, gluten in wheat, oiliness in rapeseed and mustard crops.

Mono sulfur allows different crops to better tolerate stresses due to negative weather conditions and factors.

Regulations and recommendations for use

Mono fertilizer is used for foliar fertilizing of grain, legume crops, sugar and fodder beets, rape, potatoes and cabbage at dosages from 0.2 to 1 liter of the preparation for one hectare of crops.

Mono sulfur provides results in root treatment as well – for this purpose, the solution is applied with irrigation water. Repeat such treatments after 10-15 days, depending on the crop.

For effective use of mono fertilizer, it should be added to the tank of a sprayer or irrigation system and thoroughly stirred until the composition is completely, evenly dissolved.

Before applying mono fertilizer with other components, it is important to check their compatibility – for this, you can use the method of creating a model solution.

The areas should be treated in the morning in windless, not hot weather.
