Mono Zinc is a liquid fertilizer with a high zinc content.
The chelate form delivers more than 90% of the active ingredients. Fertilizer with an organic basis and bioavailable components stimulates the growth and development of horticultural and agricultural crops.
Zinc acts as a cofactor in more than 300 enzymes. It takes an active part in the synthesis of chlorophyll precursors, reproductive and metabolic processes, is included in 40 enzymes. Zinc, in addition to heat resistance, gives plants frost resistance, provides quality utilization of phosphorus. Fertilizer Mono Zinc can be used for seedbed preparation and foliar treatments.
Signs of zinc deficiency in various crops
Zinc is directly related to growth hormone. This trace element also affects chlorophyll activity and protein synthesis. Zinc is actively involved in maintaining the integrity of plant cell membranes and their resistance to pathogens. The micronutrient makes plants more protected against drought.
Zinc deficiency mainly causes leaf death and stunted growth in various crops. As a result, yields become extremely low. The leaves of the plants are affected by chlorosis. This disease causes abnormalities in the growth and development of crops. Yellow necrotic spots appear on small, literally dwarfing leaves.
Zinc deficiency occurs most often in agricultural crops. They become stunted. Leaves of such plants are deformed and die off, often have an asymmetrical shape. Corn, potatoes, beets, rice, flax, clover and buckwheat are considered the most sensitive to the amount of zinc.
Zinc deficiency impairs cell division and growth. As a result, the new crop may appear noticeably late. Extra veins appear on the leaves, and white spots may appear.
Mechanism of action of Mono Zinc fertilizer
Fertilizers in chelated form Mono Zinc make up for the lack of trace element, actively participate in protein, lipid and other types of metabolism, regulate the production of tryptophan. The growth and yield of crops increases. Zinc helps retain water in plant cells, making them more resistant to high temperatures in the summer.
The chelated fertilizers accompany the rapid penetration of micronutrients through all parts of the plant. Active substances in bioavailable form contribute to the production of special hormones – auxins, which control the growth of fruits, grains, berries. Zinc fertilizers also increase overall yield, fruit and grain quality.
Advantages of fertilizer in liquid form
Liquid fertilizer with zinc comes to the user in an easily digestible chelated form, which ensures penetration of almost all active substances and their maintenance in the right quantity throughout the plant growth period.
The main advantages of Mono Zinc:
- convenient liquid form of fertilizer ;
- active zinc in chelated form (O-RISE Mono Zinc 7.4% ;
- economical use of fertilizer;
- Nitrogen content (O-RISE Mono Zinc nitrogen content of 2.5%;
- the fertilizer combines well with other preparations.
These advantages allow to use Mono Zinc as widely as possible both in large agricultural enterprises and agricultural holdings, as well as in peasant farms.
Effectiveness of Mono Zinc application
The effectiveness of the fertilizer can be evaluated after the first use. The plant’s resistance to high temperatures, sunlight and drought is markedly increased. The fertilizer also gives treated crops the ability to resist various diseases and the effects of adverse environmental factors. Zinc in chelated form contributes to the retention and accumulation of important antioxidants, B vitamins inside the crops.
According to agronomists and other specialists in the cultivation of fruit and berry, agricultural crops, sufficient zinc is only observed in forest soils. This is why it is recommended that zinc fertilizer be used regularly as an effective dressing. This is the most effective way to prevent dangerous diseases and lower yields.
Mono Zinc is also actively used in the cultivation of vegetables and fruits. Zinc deficiency is common in apple trees, grapes, pears, tomatoes, and potatoes. Treated plants become more resistant to common diseases. Zinc increases the amount of vitamin C and sugary components in tomatoes and prevents the development of brown spot. Potato tubers, thanks to timely fertilization, are not susceptible to the spread of phytophthora.
Features of Use
Fertilizer is recommended for preventive and curative purposes. It is used to process corn, pulses, sugar beets, grains, various fruit crops, and flax. Fertilizer is added to the tank of the irrigation system, which is filled with water to 2/3 of the calculated volume. Stir the active ingredients for 3-5 minutes. Various pesticides can be added if necessary. The resulting solution is used for fertilization.
Fertilize plants only in the morning or evening, on days when there is no wind. The weather should be dry and not too hot. The number of treatments depends on the condition of the soil, type of plant.
